"Wikiwiki" — Hawaiian for "Speedy Fast"

The all-new Wikiwiki FLEX is engineered for unmatched speed, flexibility, and hydrodynamic efficiency. Built with the most advanced materials and technology, this suit is designed to maximize stroke recovery during the catch phase — making it the fastest wetsuit we’ve ever created. With 0.5mm Yamamoto FLEXskin BRS neoprene in the arms and shoulders, it offers the freedom of a sleeveless suit while delivering the full hydrodynamic advantages of SCS Nano coating. The result: ultimate shoulder mobility, superior buoyancy balance, and next-level performance with every stroke.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The Wikiwiki FLEX is Zoot’s most flexible wetsuit, designed specifically for experienced and advanced swimmers. If you already have a strong body position in the water and don’t rely on added buoyancy to stay efficient, this suit is built for you. The Wikiwiki FLEX maximizes shoulder mobility, stroke speed, and overall freedom — making it the perfect choice for athletes chasing every possible performance advantage.

Fantastic, fast, flexible suit

Here’s the scoop. Older but podium age grouper. 5-11 and 175lbs. Broad shoulders and chest, so usually always need a Large. Legs in tri suits, for example, are sometimes a bit loose. Was an issue there as well. See below.

Pluses: fast. Easy to put on. Super flexible no feel shoulders. I mean, zero restriction at all. Amazing. But that means I’ll likely need to baby it more than my old tank of a training suit.

Negative: The only slight issue was the folds behind the knee. Designed with a very slight bend in the knee, which is cool, but there’s a tad too much material there in my opinion.

This makes the suit a breeze to get on and off, and I suppose it’s not a big deal having slightly loose legs, so I will keep it as it feels amazing, is super fast and looks great (personal subjective opinion I realize).

If you’re looking for leg lift, this one has plenty. I mean, a lot. I threw in the neoprene thickness stats into AI, and it said it might even have MORE lift than their new sister Float model. thicker neo in the butt, for example. Likely just a Zoot marketing thing to distinguish it from the float. No idea why they felt they needed to do that. They could have just said, this one is higher end, thinner neoprene. If you need lift, you’ll have more than enough, trust me. No need to go down to the Float. And as I said, in the end, you might even have more than that model.

If they could have made the legs a tiny bit tighter, this would be the Ferrari of wetsuits. I think it already competes with the top-end Zone3 Vanquish and the Roka. And it’s a tad cheaper than those. Hope this helps with your decision.

ONLY THE BEST PREMIUM JAPANESE NEOPRENE

Zoot only uses the very best neoprene in the world from the Yamamoto Corporation in Japan—the highest grade of rubber available. Yamamoto neoprene is limestone-based and has a different cell structure than the more commonly used petroleum-based neoprene. It is more flexible, more durable, and is better for the environment than traditional neoprene. Yamamoto neoprene absorbs very little water, making Zoot wetsuits naturally lighter, warmer, more flexible.

Yamamoto AURORA #45 X-Back

The latest breakthrough from Yamamoto, the AURORA #45 SCS neoprene, is engineered for exceptional stretch and comfort. Zoot’s exclusive AURORA X-Back design integrates this advanced neoprene across the upper back and shoulders to deliver unparalleled stretch and mobility.

By reducing resistance through every phase of the stroke, the X-Back allows swimmers to rotate more freely and recover quickly after the catch. This increased range of motion not only maximizes speed but also opens the chest for easier breathing, helping athletes stay relaxed and efficient in the water.

The result is a wetsuit engineered for powerful strokes, unrestricted breathing, and true race-day performance.

FLEXskin SHOULDER & ARM FLEXIBILITY

The Wikiwiki FLEX utilizes 0.5mm Yamamoto BRS super-stretch neoprene in the arms and shoulders — the thinnest, most advanced rubber available. This ultra-thin material maximizes flexibility for unrestricted shoulder mobility while also offering superior heat-retention properties compared to traditional neoprene.

By reducing resistance through every phase of the stroke, the Wikiwiki allows athletes to increase distance per stroke, maintain optimal efficiency, and minimize fatigue without compromising warmth or comfort.

YAMAMOTO AERODOME

Yamamoto Aerodome neoprene is engineered with air bubbles laminated between the fabric layers, making it both lighter and more buoyant — delivering up to 30% more buoyancy than conventional neoprene. Protected by an international patent, this unique construction evenly distributes air cells throughout the rubber, reducing overall weight while enhancing body lift in the water.

When paired with jersey fabric, Aerodome also helps manage body humidity and improves comfort. The trapped air bubbles act as natural insulators, boosting heat retention and keeping you warmer without sacrificing flexibility. The result is a wetsuit material that provides lift, thermal efficiency, and lightweight comfort — ideal for peak performance in open water.

COMFORT BACK NECK

Zoot Wetsuits are designed with a raised back tab of ultra-soft neoprene to protect the back of your neck from chafing.

FUSE WELDED SCS NANO NECK

The Wikiwiki FLEX is engineered with a fuse-welded, low profile neck for ultimate comfort.  The neoprene is fully coated with SCS nano to eliminate friction and stop chafing.

SCS NANO SPEED COATING

SCS (Super Composite Skin) is a hydrodynamic coating that reduces drag, helping the suit glide through the water more efficiently for faster swim speeds. Think of it as a high tech Teflon coating that repels water and protects your wetsuit by reducing the possibility of rips and tears.  The Wikiwiki FLEX uses SCS NANO which is the most hydrodynamic and durable wetsuit coating available. Super Composite Skin Nano reduces the suit’s underwater coefficient of dynamic friction to 0.026.  Less friction. Less drag. More speed.

DORSALFLEX ZIPPER

2mm of neoprene around the back zipper gives better stretch for improved lung expansion. Zoot's DORSALflex zipper construction allows the zipper panel to stretch with the body, eliminating the traditional restrictive feeling when zipping up.

OPTIMAL KICK DESIGN (OKD)

OKD is Zoot proprietary leg patterning that forms to the angle of your knee in the water and works with your anatomy rather than fighting it.  OKD ensures increased kick velocity, frequency, and efficiency.

YKK ZIPPER

We only use YKK stainless steel zippers, which close from bottom to top. This makes opening the wetsuit and getting out much simpler, easier, and faster in transition.

PROTECTIVE STORAGE BAG

Protect your investment with the included garment bag that will shield your suit from UV rays when not in use.

Robert's comments and comparison to the ROKA Maverick sold me on trying the Wikiwiki. I totally agree with his observations. I must have gained some weight - and my ROKA felt so constricting in the chest. The Zoot is a lot more comfortable and much easier to get on and take off. I am not sure if it is "faster" but it is much more comfortable. I'm looking forward to racing with it.
